Chris Stevens

Co-opted

Date appointed: 29 November 2021

I have spent the majority of my career based in operations and commercial management for large European and global corporations.  Additionally, I have several years public sector experience in education business management roles.  Working for a large Primary based Multi-Academy Trust, I work with Headteachers and school leadership teams in strategic financial planning and management.  Alongside that I have been a governor at Ashby Primary and Secondary schools, a coach/committee member at a local grassroots football club and active member of Ashby Hockey Club for many years.

I am keen to continue supporting the life chances of young people and raising standards, and find the impact that good governance can deliver can be very rewarding.
